The management committee was formed on 25th April 1957 in preparation for the official opening of the village hall on Saturday, 22nd June,1957, to act as trustees to oversee the day to day running of the hall and to ensure that its charity goals are met for the benefit of the village. The trust deed, signed, sealed & delivered on 31st December 1959 is held by the Charity Commission.
